Hector Parra

Hector has always had a passion for helping business owners gain clarity, make confident decisions, and build stronger companies. Over his career, he has developed more than 8 years of experience advising business owners and C-suite leaders across financial strategy, cash flow management, commercial banking, credit structuring, and relationship management. 

Today, as a Fractional CFO with Thrive CFO, Hector helps business owners strengthen their financial foundation, prepare for growth, and make confident decisions with clear insight into their business.

Before Thrive CFO, Hector served in advisory, relationship management, and banking leadership roles with JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo, where he supported business owners and C-suite stakeholders with financial advice, commercial lending, credit structuring, P&L analysis, cash flow management, and business development.

Earlier in his career, Hector served as an Infantry Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division, where he led soldiers, planned training, and learned the importance of high standards, accountability, and leading from the front.

Hector holds an MBA from Rice University and is completing a master’s in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to his professional work, he serves as a Finance & Lending Mentor with SCORE and is bilingual in Spanish.

When he is not serving clients, Hector enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and exploring new destinations across the U.S. and abroad.
